The generic multiplicity-induced-dominancy property from retarded to neutral delay-differential equations: When delay-systems characteristics meet the zeros of Kummer functions

چکیده

In this paper, which is a direct continuation and generalization of the recent works by authors [17, 35], we show validity generic multiplicity-induced-dominancy property for general class linear functional differential equations with single delay, including retarded as well neutral cases. The result based on an appropriate integral representation corresponding characteristic quasipolynomial functions involving some degenerate hypergeometric functions.

The Numerical Solution of Delay-differential-algebraic Equations of Retarded

In this paper we consider the numerical solution of initial-value delay-differentialalgebraic equations (DDAEs) of retarded and neutral types, with a structure corresponding to that of Hessenberg DAEs. We give conditions under which the DDAE is well conditioned and show how the DDAE is related to an underlying retarded or neutral delay-ordinary differential equation (DODE). We present convergen...

The Kneser Property for Abstract Retarded Functional Differential Equations with Infinite Delay

We establish existence of mild solutions for a class of semilinear first-order abstract retarded functional differential equations (ARFDEs) with infinite delay and we prove that the set consisting of mild solutions for this problem is connected in the space of continuous functions. 1. Introduction. The purpose of this paper is to establish existence of mild solutions of a semilinear abstract re...

On the Oscillation of Second-Order Neutral Delay Differential Equations

Neutral differential equations find numerous applications in natural science and technology. For instance, they are frequently used for the study of distributed networks containing lossless transmission lines; see Hale 1 . In recent years, many studies have been made on the oscillatory behavior of solutions of neutral delay differential equations, and we refer to the recent papers 2–23 and the ...

The Exponential Stability of Neutral Stochastic Delay Partial Differential Equations

In this paper we analyse the almost sure exponential stability and ultimate boundedness of the solutions to a class of neutral stochastic semilinear partial delay differential equations. This kind of equations arises in problems related to coupled oscillators in a noisy environment, or in viscoeslastic materials under random or stochastic influences.
